Rimutaka Forest Park Orongorongo River

Wellington region on the hutbaggers web site has recently had four more huts added, of these two are in the Rimutaka Forest Park which was today's bagging activity.

The Catchpool Valley entrance to the Orongorongo's is not far from Wellington, a nice afternoon return trip with two huts bagged.

In Memory of John Anthony Gibbs

Then wondering about this man, I took an almost direct line East to the next hut, Wai Whare, seems there is a track between the two as there is a worn trail thru the bush.
